What is the difference between Node-locked and Floating license?
Node-locked license is static – it can only be used by one user who can install it on 2 computers.
Floating license is dynamic – it can be used by many different users on any number of computers. The number of concurrent users is limited by the number of license seats purchased.
Can I pay via invoice?
You can also pay directly via invoice/wire transfer. Just send us a mail with the desired quantity, and we’ll create a personalized offer for you. Once you confirm your offer, we will send you an invoice and your license key(s). We accept payments in EUR and USD.
If you have any questions regarding licensing, we will be happy to help you via mail or arrange a call with you.
Is Modelur license permanent?
Modelur comes as a monthly or annual subscription service, which includes full support and all updates during your subscription.
If you decide not to renew, we offer a free viewer license to make sure you can always retrieve the data from the models you have created with Modelur.
Can I change number of Floating License seats later?
You can always upgrade your license to the number of seats you need. Please send us an email and we will help you with that.
Is license renewed automatically?
None of the license options are updated automatically as we want to make sure you renew the license only if you are actually using Modelur.
But to prevent any potential Modelur outage for annual licenses, we reach out to you about 3 weeks before the license expires to let you know about it.
